Turning Point is a structured transitional and independent living housing program serving adults experiencing housing instability. We provide a safe, stable living environment for individuals who need time, structure, and support while working toward permanent housing and self-sufficiency.
Our program is designed for adults who are capable of living semi-independently but require accountability, guidance, and a stable residence as they rebuild employment, daily living routines, and long-term housing readiness.
The goal of Turning Point is to help participants move from instability to stability by preparing them for successful independent living in the community.

Many adults do not meet criteria for emergency shelters yet still lack a safe or stable place to live. Individuals are frequently discharged from hospitals, treatment programs, correctional settings, or temporary housing arrangements without adequate support or housing preparation. Without a structured environment, they often cycle between temporary stays, unsafe living situations, or homelessness.
Turning Point was created to address this gap. Our program provides a structured living setting where individuals can stabilize their daily routines, focus on employment and financial responsibility, and prepare for long-term housing placement.
We focus on housing readiness, not just housing placement.

Turning Point operates as a programmatic housing environment rather than simply a rental property. Residents are program participants who agree to work toward specific stability goals during their stay.
Each participant follows a structured stability plan that emphasizes responsibility, routine, and progress toward independence. The environment is supportive but accountability-based. Participants are expected to actively work toward employment, financial stability, and permanent housing.
Our approach centers on three principles:
~ Stability
~ Responsibility
~ Transition

At Turning Point we maintain a structured and respectful living environment. All participants sign a resident agreement and are expected to follow house expectations designed to ensure safety and shared responsibility.
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for violence, threats, or behavior that compromises the safety of other residents. Our program emphasizes mutual respect, personal responsibility, and community living standards.

Turning Point works collaboratively with community organizations, social service providers, healthcare professionals, workforce programs, and housing agencies. We aim to serve as a reliable housing stabilization option for professionals assisting individuals who need a structured living environment prior to independent housing placement.
We welcome communication from providers seeking housing options for appropriate referrals.

Turning Point’s mission is to provide structured, stable housing that supports adults in building the skills, habits, and financial stability necessary to transition into permanent independent living.

We envision a community where individuals facing housing instability have access to safe environments that promote responsibility, dignity, and long-term self-sufficiency.
